Photos from the Costa BravaCosta is the Catalan and Spanish word for 'coast', and Brava means 'rugged' or 'wild'. Some parts of the Costa Brava coastline have been tarnished by large tourist developments but other parts, the hidden gems, have retained a more traditional look. The coast between Roses and Tossa de Mar has many delightful small towns (such as Pals, Palamós and Sant Feliu de Guíxols) and many small, wonderful coves (such as Aigua Xelida or Cala s'Alguer). |
