In Laos, travelling by boat is an unforgettable experience and a great way to see the country and life in villages along the rivers. The main cities, Vientiane and Luang Prabang, have many incredibly beautiful Buddhist temples. Vientiane was the point of return in this trip of a year and a half because I had been travelling quite some time already it was also the beginning of the hot and humid season.
