Istria es una península en el mar Adriático, donde muchos pueblos y aldeas también tienen un nombre italiano, así como el nombre de Croacia. Un ferry conecta a la isla de Cres, hacia el Este, que es unida por un puente a la hermosa isla de Losinj.
