El condado de Clare es conocido por hermosos paisajes (acantilados de Moher, Spanish Point, el Burren, etc ..), por su fuerte historia de la música tradicional, y por su patrimonio prehistórico, hoy visibles en forma de dolmen y tumbas megalíticas antiguas (dolmen de Poulnabrone en el Burren por ejemplo).
