Veranstaltungen und Bilder von den Prozessionen während der Karfreitag 2008

- Zuerst kommen die Bruderschaften (cofradías) aus den umliegenden Dörfern (ca. 20 Uhr),

- Eine Zeremonie wird in der Kirche gehalten und die Statue von Jesus wird vom Kreuz abgenommen und auf einem 'Paso' gelegt,

- Die Bruderschaften verlassen die Kirche, während eine Band spielte Musik, und marschieren durch das Dorf,

-Die 'Paso' mit der Statue von Jesus folgt die Prozession der Bruderschaften, dann die Band und die Menschen schließen die Prozession.

- Die Prozession kommt zurück zur Kirche, wo die Statue von Jesus in einen Sarg gelegt wird, und das schließt die Wiederherstellung des Todes Jesus.

Penitents wear a "nazareno" or penitential robe and a hood with conical tip called "capirote".
The hood hides their face so that they can demonstrate their penance while still masking their identity

Each confraternity (cofradía) wears a different colour.
This dress may remind you of the Ku Klux Klan, but its origins date from medieval times,
and the Ku Klux Klan, ironically anti-religious, copied the style.
