Kosovo is now independent but it was still under UN mandate when I passed in 2003.
On this page of photos, I don't want to take any political position, I am only sharing photos.
However, I do hope that in the future, Serbian people of Kosovo and the very rich and important
Serbian cultural heritage will be respected. It will take time but I hope the hatred will disappear, and
I hope Kosovo and Serbia will eventually forgive each other the trouble of the past.

The photos below were taken during a 3 weeks trip across the former Yugoslavia in 2003. I visited Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Serbia a street in the small town of Peja Prizren : Mehmet Pasha's Turkish bath Prizren : Sinan Pasha mosque and the Sveti Spas orthodox church (just on the right of the minaret)   Prizren : the Sveti Spas orthodox church and the Serbian part of town.
